Xbox 720 Will Be 6 Times More Powerful Than The Xbox 360

If you are gamer and you already own a Xbox 360, you might’ve already heard about Microsoft’s plans to release a new and improved gaming console, dubbed Xbox 720, coming this Summer.

The rumor has it that new Xbox 720 will be unveiled at the E3, and until then we know very little about the new gaming console.

IGN seems to have a bit more information than the rest of the world and speculates that the new Xbox 720 GPU will be ATI’s Radeon HD 6670, offering gaming enthusiasts an improved gaming experience in comparison to the the Xbox 360. IGN says the Xbox 720 owners will be able to enjoy 1080p HD output, will be able to play their favorite games on multiple displays and will even get 3D support.

Other rumors suggest that the Xbox 720 will also be available in a second version, offering DVR support but we’ll just have to wait for the official Microsoft press release in the Spring, most likely.

We know for sure that the gaming experience is about to change dramatically and gamers everywhere will get a nice surpise this Summer, once the Xbox 720 arrives.
