Sony adds a new AV receiver to the company’s 2012 line of home theater products. Coming as part of the ES series, the new flagship DA5700ES AV receiver has been designed to deliver the highest quality sound with its 7.2 channels, expandable to 9.2-channels when adding two front high speakers. The DA5700ES AV receiver comes with Digital Cinema Auto Calibration EX technology that’s used to optimize surround sound automatically in any room. Running this feature will calibrate the DS5700ES and help you experience the highest quality surround sound. This new Sony AV receiver features DTS Neo X and Faroujda 1080p upscaling and comes with 3D capabilities.
You can easily hook it up to your large screen 3D TV with the aid of no more than six HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs. Further more, you can connect your PC to the DA5700ES using just an USB cable and enjoy your private media collection. This one can also connect to the Internet using the built-in WiFi feature and will allow users to enjoy Internet streaming content from the Sony Entertainment Network.
Pricing and release date remains a mystery for now.
