Samsung M370 Flip Phone from Sprint

It seems that today everything we talk about about has to do with smartphones or apps for smartphones. We should also remember that companies like Samsung still come up with cell phones for entry-level users who don’t get a kick out of smartphones as us, techies.

Sprint and Samsung have just released a new flip cell phone meant for unexperienced users that just want to make a few calls without accessing the Internet or store multimedia, like others do.

The Samsung M370 flip phone features a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a small display on the front so you can see who’s calling or what time it is.

Even though it’s just an entry-level cell phone, the M370 still brings a 1.3-megapixel camera, GPS, 3G and Bluetooth even though a user who doesn’t know much about technology will most likely never use these features. The 1000mAh Lithium-Ion battery will let you talk for 5.4 hours before it needs to be recharged, which seems more than enough for an unexperienced user.

The Samsung M370 Clamshell Phone will be available with a new contract with Sprint for $19.99. The M370 will become available on January 8th in a single color tone, Pewter Gray and it just might be an affordable solution for those older people who just want a phone.
