Samsung announced its new Galaxy S Smartphone at the CTIA 2010. The Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 is one of the most powerful android-powered device on the market. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.1 OS. The Galaxy S sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with the mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) technology for “sharper and crisper” images.

The Samsung Galaxy S is only 9.9mm thick and features a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, smile shot, panorama shot and 720p HD video recording and built-in A-GPS support. The Samsung Galaxy S works on quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps networks, it comes equipped with 8GB or 16GB internal memory and supports microSD up to 32GB. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity are also supported.
