Samsung took it upon itself to create a compact Blu-Ray player that still comes with all the amazing features of a modern Blu-Ray player. Even though this one has left a lasting impression on the audience, the BD-ES6000 was not the only Blu-Ray player in Samsung’s 2012 line-up.
The BD-E6500 is the new flagship 3D Blu-Ray player from Samsung, featuring WiFi connectivity and dual HDMI inputs. The two HDMI inputs will allow users to connect multiple devices to the new BD-E6500, such as a gaming console or a set-top box, reducing the number of wires coming in and out your HDTV.
The flagship BD-E6500 supports 3D Blu-Ray and Full HD video and comes with features such as TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus as well as DTS-HD Bitstream audio formats. To sweeten the deal, Samsung has equipped the BD-E6500 with the necessary hardware to convert your old video collection to 1080p HD video.
Further more, the Samsung BD-E6500 Blu-Ray player also features connectivity to the popular Internet Streaming services and will let users access web content from Netflix, VUDU or Pandora by connecting to your home hetwork via its WiFi capabilities. There’s also DLNA connectivity allowing you to stream content wirelessly from other DLNA-enabled devices in your home. Another interesting feature found in the BD-E6500 is the Disc to Digital that will allow any user to register ownership of physical DVDs, and access the movie on a large array of devices wherever you are.
The BD-E6500 comes in a two-tone design that accentuates its slim look, featuring an elegant piano-finish. The BD-E6500 isn’t just a performant machine, but also an elegant addition to your setup and the Mystical Blue lighting feature adds to its elegance and will look amazing when you turn off the lights to watch the next Hollywood Blockbuster.
