Everyone expects the best when it comes to audio products from Pioneer and this time the company brings forward two new headphone sets dedicated to hardcore audiophiles, who don’t want anything around them to disturb their music listening time.

The two models are the Pioneer SE-MJ591 audiophile headphone and the SE-NC21M noise-canceling headphone and are both meant for high performance in a light-weight package. The company has decided to also add a carrying case for even more portability and convenience when you’re away from home and you still want to enjoy your music in style.

The Pioneer SE-MJ591 is the audiophile-dedicated headphone set brought forward by the company and has been equipped with a couple of 40nm drivers with metal components as well as ultra-soft ear-pads and a comfortable headband that won’t bother you too much. Pioneer wanted to bring forward a high performance headphone set that would match a professional audio system in terms of performance and we’ll have to see if this one rises up to the challenge.

The Pioneer SE-MJ591 audiophile headset is set for release in April for $299.

The Pioneer SE-NC21M is the second headphone set from the company, this time featuring even more portability as well as a light-weight design. This one is a noise-cancelling headset and Pioneer guarantees that it can reduce the ambient noise up to 90% in order to offer the best music experience anywhere you are. The company claims that a single AAA battery will help the SE-NC21M headset cancel all noises up to 120 hours, which is a reasonable performance if you stop to think about it.

The Pioneer SE-NC21M noise-cancelling headset will come in May for $119.
