Nokia takes the stage again, this time with a budget-friendly cell phone trio. The Series 40 mobile phones have been dubbed Nokia C2-02, C2-03 and Nokia C2-06.
For a low price you will get a 240 x320 touchscreen and a slide-out numeric keyboard, only 10MB of internal memory, micro USB port, FM radio, media player, a 2 MP rear camera and a 1020mAh battery that will last you up to 5 hours of talk time.
The good news is that these cell phones will pack new Nokia Maps for the Series 40 phones. Your places of interest and local maps will be preinstalled on these phones, so you’ll be able to pop them out whenever you feel the need.
You will also get the new and improved Nokia Browser with these cell phones featuring data compression for lower costs and fast loading.
The Nokia C2-03 is a dual-sim cell phone featuring Easy Swap. This will allow you to change SIM cards without turning your phone off or removing the battery, which seems pretty great. You will also be able to customize up to five SIM cards with a personalized look.
The Nokia C2-02 is a single SIM phone coming with push messaging and an array of IM providers included, while the C2-06 comes in a fresh range of colors and a smooth finish.
The C2-02 and C2-03 from Nokia will be available for a low price of around $105, while the Nokia C2-06 will be available for $112 in the third quarter of this year.
