MSI adds two new notebooks to its line-up, coming in a slim profile. These two have been called MSI X460 and X460DX and target business professionals who travel a lot and need a thin and light option to take on the road.

The MSI X460 and MSI X460DX come in an elegant metallic casing while packing under the hood the performance of the latest Sandy Bridge processors from Intel.

The MSI X460 model is powered by an Intel Core i7-2630QM processor and 6GB of DDR3, while the graphics are supplied by an integrated Intel HD 3000 GPU, which make the X460 ideal for multitasking.

The MSI X460DX is not as powerful as its big brother, however it could be a good option for a performance notebook nonetheless. The X460DX packes a 2.1 Ghz Intel Core i3-2310M processor and 4GB of DDR3. You have the option of upgrading the processor on purchase if that’s not enough for you.

Both MSI notebooks run on 64-bit Windows 7 so you can take full advantage of their performant hardware and feature a 1366 x 768 glossy LCD display, WiDi 2.0, Etherenet and WiFi, USB 3.0 x 2 and one USB 2.0 and also a 1.3 megapixel webcam for video conferencing.

The MSI X460 and X460DX notebooks are now both available for purchase for $1200. Additional fees apply depending on optional upgrades you choose.
