The IPS panel seems to be in right now and LG is one of the companies which responded to the trend by releasing the IPS7 Series of IPS LED-backlit LCD displays.
So what makes these so special, you may wonder. Well, the IPS panel enables these two to come in a super thin 1.2mm bezel and an elegant design, sitting comfortably on a streamine metallic stand.
What separates these two IPS displays from the pack is the MHL technology which enables users to hook up their mobile devices to the displays via the HDMI port and show off their media directly from their smartphones to a wide-screen display.
The design is one of the main selling points, as for the features they’re way up there on the scale of a high quality 2012 display. You’ll be able to find 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 250 nits of brightness and Mega contrast ratio. The novelty is the hardware color calibration which will enable professional such as designers to go even further and set up their perfect environment.
The LG IPS7 Series IPS LED-backlit LCD displays are available in 23 and 27-inches screen size and have been dubbed LG IPS237L and IPS227L.
