JVC has a brand new professional camcorder ready for launch and this one packs all the new technology available and is said to deliver the highest-quality image and sound for sports, news and or it can be used for movie-making.
JVC has released a few specs for the new GY-HM6000, which has been equipped with 1/3-inch 12-bit CMOS sensors, 23x Fujinon Auto focus zoom lens and three ND filters. The JVC GY-HM6000 also comes with an optical image stabilizer and face detection and packs a 3.5-inch LCD screen for video preview. There’s a built-in microphone on-board for stereo sound capturing and two XLR inputs with phantom power, a headphone jack and a wireless mic receiver. This professional camcorder is able to record FULL HD or SD videos in multiple formats including MP4, MOV and AVCHD.
Among other high-end features coming with this new professional handheld camcorder, you’ll also be able to find the PreRec function which will continuously record and store five seconds of footage to the cache memory and will prevent any loss of data.
The JVC GY-HM6000 professional handheld camcorder will become available this Fall for $4695.
