The MediaPad features a 7-inch display, weighing only 390g and measuring 10.5mm in thickness. The device is powered by a dual-core processor, the Qualcomm 1.2Ghz, features 8GB of storage space, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and HDMI port.
There are two built-in cameras, a 1.3 MP front facing camera, great for video chatting and a 5 MP auto focus, rear camera that you can use to record HD video.
Reportedly, the MediaPad will feature the Honeycomb OS dedicated to tablets and supports both HD video playback and capturing. The Huawei MediaPad will also support Flash 10 videos, HSPA+ data services and comes with pre-installed apps for social networking in the form of Twitter, Facebook, Documents to Go and Let’s Golf.
You can expect to see Huawei’s MediaPad in stores in the 3rd quarter of 2011.
