Gateway has officially announced in Canada the release of two new AMD-powered netbooks, models Gateway LT22 and the Gateway LT32. The Gateway LT32 netbook is in fact a rebranded version of the Acer Aspire One 721.
The first model released, the Gateway LT22 comes with a 10.1-inch LED backlit display at a 1024×600 pixels resolution, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, webcam, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, is powered by a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics card which will enable FULL HD playback.
The Gateway LT22 features a 6-cell battery which guarantees 6,5 hours of battery time and will come pre-loaded Windows 7 Starter.
The Gateway LT32 netbook has basically the same components as the LT22, the only differences are the LED display, which is larger at 11.6-inch and it comes with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
The Gateway LT22 is already available for purchase at a retail price of CAD 349.99 while the LT32 will soon be available at a price of CAD 449.99.

But I wonder, who will go for this when better models are available from more reputed brands?
