Firefox seems to have lost of ground in favor of the lightweight Google Chrome browser and that’s understandable for many reasons.

The Firefox developers are concentrating on enhancing the user interface, the high CPU usage issue remains unresolved in each version. This one of the main reasons many have already switched to Chrome and the Google browser currently enjoys a lot of success due to its low memory usage.

If we take a look at the new Firefox 13 we can notice an attractive UI that’s somewhat similar to Chrome and Opera, keeping your most visited pages just a click away which is always handy.

Aside from the enhanced UI there’s not much to talk about in the new Firefox 13. If the problems still continue many more will start to migrate towards other browsers.

However, if you’re a Firefox fan and currently have Firefox 12 installed, you can download Firefox 13 here. If you wait until tomorow, you’ll most likely get a notice about a new available version and you can upgrade then.

Currently there are more Mozilla fans excited about the new Firefox for Windows Metro than Firefox 13 and rightly so.
