Corsair is well known for quality computer components and this time the company has a new gaming headset ready to surface on the market.

The new Corsair gaming headset has been dubbed Vengeance 2000 and features 7.1-channels and two large 50nm sound drivers that deliver a tight bass response and a much more detailed audio experience. Corsair took it upon itself to deliver a wireless gaming headset that packs all the latest technology in order to offer the highest audio experience available right now. The Vengeance 2000 packs the optimized HRTF positional audio technology for accurate reproduction of multi-channel 5.1/7.1 surround sound. This is very handy and you’ll be able to locate your in-game opponents by sound, even if you don’t see them on your screen.

Probably one of the most appealing features coming with the Corsair Vengeance 2000 is its wireless capability via a wireless adapter. The wireless adapter will hook up to your PC through an USB port and lets you use this headset up to 40 feet. There’s also a noise-cancelling, unidirectional microphone with rotating bottom that will most likely be very useful if you want to communicate with your friends in-game.

The Vengeance 2000 is not only a quality but also a comfortable headset. It comes with microfiber-covered memory foam earpads and padded headband and you can also fold it to fit in you bag. There’s an internal battery that will provide up to 10 hours of usage and you can use it while it’s charging.

The new Corsair Vengeance 2000 is available for $149.
