Recently, it seems that the most sought after gadgets online are the quality headphones people use for gaming or music listening pleasure. Headphones come in many sizes and the trend is to pack in the noise-cancelling feature that will allow you to listen to your music with no interference from the outside world.

Bose is one of the companies that brings high-quality audio products every time and it seems the company has delivered just that once again. The new QuietComfort 15 headphone set is the new product coming this time from Bose and aside from high performance, the company promises a high level of comfort. The thing with over-ear headphones is that your ears will get very hot after a while and you’ll have to take them off soon, especially in the summer. Well, Bose wants to change that and promises that the QuietComfort 15 will put very little pressure on the ears and make you forget you’re wearing a headset.

QuietComfort 15 Performance

Probably the most popular feature for today’s headphone sets is the noise-cancelling option that will allow you to listen to your music undisturbed by other sounds and noises around you. This is done using an AAA battery and the QuietComfort 15 hides it well so you won’t have to worry much about it. On the plus side, these headphones are very light and you’ll feel very comfortable wearing them. The ear-pads are made out of leather and will sit very well and cover your ears completely in order to make use of the noise-cancelling feature. Bose seems to have put a lot of thought into this headset and you’ll find it both very comfortable when you’re listening to your music in noisy places.

The noise-cancelling feature extends to the microphone as well and you will find that the ambient noise around won’t get through, although the headset does seem to have a problem cancelling high frequency sounds.

QuietComfort 15 Design

As you can see from the picture above, the QuietComfort 15 comes with a minimalist design, in gray and black colors and is not at all flashy or meant to attract attention. The company has decided to concentrate its attention on the features rather than design with these headphones. The pads are very soft and are clearly designed to feel very light on your ears and make you forget you’re wearing headphones. You’ll also get a few accessories with the QuietComfort 15, including a case, a removable cable and an adaptor you can use when you’re travelling.

All in all, the performance is top-notch and if you decide to go for these you won’t be at all disappointed with its performance or the high level of comfort. A lot of people (including myself) do have problems with over-ear headphones and the QuietComfort 15 seems to have been designed just for them.

The Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones are now available for $299/£279.
